I attended a fund raiser at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, and Mother Dolores Hart was there.  She was the guest of honor.  I hadn't seen Dolores since 1960, and of course we've aged a bit.  A BIT?

I walked over to her and gave her a kiss in the cheek, and she seemed delighted to see me again after all these years.  I said to her (as a joke): "I'm starting a new film, and we're looking for a leading lady.  Are you available?"  We both laughed and had a nice conversation. Particularly after the cameras stopped rolling.

Some scenes from this benefit were shown on the CBS Morning News, Sunday, May 14.  David was shown talking to Mother Hart for about 30 seconds.

CBS correspondent Rita Braver did the profile: "Higher Calling" on Mother Dolores Hart's homecoming and her work for the Neuropathy Association.

Hart is now a Benedictine nun at the Abbey of Regina Laudis.
